Based in Los Angeles, badsoma brings together Armin Fard, Starlit Eyes, Donny Segien, Braden Rose, Ana Léon, and Lindsey Hamilton.
Formed in September 2023, badsoma's sound is a potent indie infusion, weaving together pop melodies, driving riffs, and haunting lyrics. It’s a sound reminiscent of indie darlings Japanese Breakfast, armed with the fangs of early Wilco, and a healthy skepticism of postmodernism that harkens to the likes of Radiohead.

Versatile as instrumentalists and songwriters, the band create a sonic tapestry that’s proven resonant with a growing local following.
They’ve delivered memorable performances main stage at the Hotel Cafe, The Mint LA, and the Everly to name a few.
In July ‘24, the band unleashed their debut EP, kicking and screaming. Fueled by raw emotion, a collective commitment to authenticity, and a hunger for experimentation, badsoma is poised to make their mark, one ear-worm melody and face-melting guitar solo at a time.
Upon release, kicking and screaming debuted on the NACC Top 200 at #134. It has since been featured prominently on various college and community radio stations across the country, such as KCSB, WPRK, and KUOM, where the song ‘burn out’ started the week of August 25th at #2 on the station’s Hitlist.

The band’s first single, ‘heat and disorder’, garnered a #192 spot on the NACC Top 200, and reached as high as #164.
Since its release, ‘heat and disorder’ has been featured on prominent stations across the country, including KUOM Radio K Minneapolis, where the single made the year-end Top 77 list at #41.
